Duvets
Our natural, British woollen duvets offer an excellent way to improve your nights sleep.
Devon Duvets are natural with a 100% wool filling and are encased in soft cotton. We use wool from special breeds of sheep, reared by British farmers and each fleece is given willingly by the original owner, the sheep, which after shearing still wanders free in green pastures.
We consider our Devon Duvets to be a responsible, sustainable, quality and value for money product that provides a natural alternative for those wishing to move away from synthetic products. It is also a good alternative to down and feather for people who like to choose an animal friendly product.
The unique and natural properties of wool resist dust mites and could help to relieve allergies or asthma.
Our duvets breathe and the natural cotton casing allows this process letting the body regulate its own temperature. In view of this most people achieve a more peaceful and deeper sleeping experience.
They can be machine washed on a wool setting, spun dried well so there is no excess of water and then line dried. They will retain their light fluffiness.
Two weights, Summer and Spring/Autumn can be bought separately and fastened together with a discreet system to make a cosy Winter weight.
The wool used in a Devon Duvet is cleaned and processed locally and is not bleached. Our duvets are handcrafted by seamstresses in Devon and therefore each one is unique.
In addition to many of the materials and the production of our duvets, all of our packaging and labelling is produced in Britain which supports our economy.

Pillows
Devon Duvet Pillows are available in 2 types, the original, and our patent pending folding pillow system in a choice of 2, 3 or 4 folds; 2 folds being the thinnest, 3 medium and 4 the thickest.
Our unique folding pillow is extremely versatile and when folded into the cotton envelope makes a lovely pillow, yet unfolded it can be used as a small blanket and is easy to take with you when travelling. We developed this new concept with hygienic aspects in mind which is especially important for people who have allergies or asthma. The design makes it easy to fold out the pillow to air or machine wash on a wool setting, spin out excess water and line dry without losing its shape.
The original pillow can also be machine washed in the same way but more care must be taken at it is thicker and a longer drying time in good conditions is necessary.

Each pillow is handcrafted in Devon using the wool from breeds of Texel sheep raised by British Farmers. The sheep are shorn each spring and during the year will grow wonderful new fleeces to enjoy in pillows and duvets made the next season.
Wool is cleaned and processed in Devon using a system that separates the wool fibres and maximises the loft, creating a light and fluffy natural filling. Our wool is not bleached or chemically treated.
