Traceable British Wool Pillow Top-Up – 250g

Our Original Adjustable Wool Pillow is already generously filled with approximately 1,000g of wool and is made to provide a full, supportive feel.

This 250g pack is an optional top-up for this pillow, for those who personally prefer an even higher, fuller or firmer pillow. It is the same fluffed wool that we use in our Original Adjustable Wool Pillow.

The wool can be added gradually, allowing you to make small adjustments until your pillow feels just right for you.

Our wool is traceable to British farms and cleaned in British mills. It is not bleached or chemically treated, helping to preserve the natural qualities that make wool so well suited to sleep.

The wool is supplied in a reusable cotton storage bag, individually made by our seamstresses in our Devon workshop, so that any unused wool can be kept clean and safely stored for future adjustments.

Unzip your pillow and add a small amount of wool at a time, gently teasing it apart and distributing it evenly. Close the pillow and try it before deciding whether to add more.

British wool pillow top-up FAQs

How much wool is included in the pillow top-up?
Each pack contains 250g of traceable British wool. This allows you to make gradual adjustments to the height, fullness and firmness of your adjustable wool pillow.
Which pillows can I use this wool top-up with?
It is designed as an optional top-up for our Original Adjustable Wool Pillow, including the Original Twin Pack and King Adjustable Wool Pillow.
Do I need to add the whole 250g pack?
No. Add a small amount at a time, distribute it evenly and try your pillow before adding more. This makes it easier to find the height and firmness that feels right for you.
How do I add wool to my adjustable pillow?
Unzip the pillow, gently tease apart a small quantity of wool and distribute it evenly throughout the pillow. Close the zip and test the pillow before deciding whether more wool is needed.
Where does the wool come from?
The wool is traceable to British farms and is cleaned and prepared in British mills. It is not bleached or chemically treated.
How should I store any unused wool?
Keep unused wool inside the reusable cotton storage bag supplied. Store it somewhere clean and dry so it is ready whenever you would like to adjust your pillow again.
Where is the cotton storage bag made?
Each reusable cotton storage bag is individually made by our seamstresses in the Devon Duvets workshop in Devon.

Delivery for orders under £50:  £5.00

Dispatch Information:

Dispatch Days: Our dispatch days are Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, and deliveries are normally made on working days.

Dispatch Timing: We aim to dispatch orders on the same day if ordered before 12:30pm (Mon- Fri) and use a DPD Next (working) Day delivery service*. However, as each of our duvets, pillows and mattress toppers is individually handcrafted by our seamstresses in Devon, please bear in mind that during peak or busy periods, there may be a slight delay in the dispatch of your order.

*Please note: There are some areas within the UK where the actual delivery time will take longer (usually 2 - 3 days from dispatch). These include Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Shetland and Channel Islands.

Bespoke Products: Bespoke products usually take no more than 2 weeks but timings will be given at the time of ordering.

Should the need arise, we reserve the right to select our carriers and /or third-party delivery services at our discretion to ensure timely and secure delivery of our products. This policy helps us maintain our commitment to service quality and efficiency.

Our Christmas Opening Hours:

As we all embrace the joy of the festive season, our team at Devon Duvets will also be taking a little time to rest, recharge, and enjoy precious moments with their families. We will be closed from 24 December to 28 December 2025 (inclusive), so our last day for pre-Christmas dispatches will be 23 December 2025. 

A small Devon Duvets team will be available to respond to enquiries by telephone and email on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December, with a limited dispatch service. We will then be closed from 31 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (inclusive), returning on Monday 5 January 2026, refreshed and ready to begin handcrafting our luxurious duvets, toppers and pillows once again.
