Crafted from the fine fibres of British alpaca wool, this duvet section carries a tog rating of 7 - 10, perfect for providing a cosier cover during cooler nights. Our distinctive dual tog system empowers couples to individualise their sleep experience by selecting a duvet section that best suits their personal comfort needs, enhancing their overall sleep quality.

The rich, luxurious fibres used in our Alpaca duvets are lauded for their breathability and superior temperature regulation, facilitating a consistently comfortable sleep environment. These natural fibres are resistant to dust mites and bacteria, ensuring your sleeping space remains clean and hypoallergenic. Our high-grade, natural white 100% British alpaca wool is responsibly sourced from British farms approved by the British Alpaca Society. As this precious wool is less available compared to British sheep wool, our alpaca duvet sections are a Limited Edition product, bringing a touch of exclusivity to your bedroom.

Each of our duvet sections is individually handcrafted with meticulous care in Devon, incorporating high-grade alpaca wool enveloped in a 260 thread count natural cotton casing. We maintain our pledge to sustainability and natural practices by avoiding the use of bonding agents, glues, and synthetic fibres.

CARE: We recommend regular airing to keep the alpaca fibres fresh, preferably outdoors during good weather, or indoors on a clothes airer near an open window. For a deeper clean, machine wash on a 30° wool setting, using a wool-specific product. A gentle spin to remove excess water and remove immediately from the machine. Hang up to air dry. Do not tumble dry. Not suitable for dry cleaning.

Dispatch Information:

Dispatch Days: Our dispatch days are Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, and deliveries are normally made on working days.

Dispatch Timing: We aim to dispatch orders on the same day if ordered before 12:30pm (Mon- Fri) and use a DPD Next (working) Day delivery service*. However, as each of our duvets, pillows and mattress toppers is individually handcrafted by our seamstresses in Devon, please bear in mind that during peak or busy periods, there may be a slight delay in the dispatch of your order.

*Please note: There are some areas within the UK where the actual delivery time will take longer (usually 2 - 3 days from dispatch). These include Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Shetland and Channel Islands.

Bespoke Products: Bespoke products usually take no more than 2 weeks but timings will be given at the time of ordering.

Should the need arise, we reserve the right to select our carriers and /or third-party delivery services at our discretion to ensure timely and secure delivery of our products. This policy helps us maintain our commitment to service quality and efficiency.

Our Christmas Opening Hours:

As we all embrace the joy of the festive season, our team at Devon Duvets will also be taking a little time to rest, recharge, and enjoy precious moments with their families. We will be closed from 24 December to 28 December 2025 (inclusive), so our last day for pre-Christmas dispatches will be 23 December 2025. 

A small Devon Duvets team will be available to respond to enquiries by telephone and email on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December, with a limited dispatch service. We will then be closed from 31 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (inclusive), returning on Monday 5 January 2026, refreshed and ready to begin handcrafting our luxurious duvets, toppers and pillows once again.
