A child’s mattress should provide support, while bedding adds comfort. Our Junior Wool Mattress Enhancer has been designed to add a light, breathable layer without creating excessive thickness.

Filled with 600 gsm of traceable British wool and encased in soft brushed cotton, the enhancer sits neatly between the mattress and fitted sheet. It adds gentle cushioning while allowing the mattress beneath to retain its natural support.

Naturally breathable and temperature regulating, wool helps maintain a comfortable sleep environment through changing seasons. It is also naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites.

Each enhancer is individually handcrafted in our Devon workshop using responsibly sourced British wool that is ethically shorn and processed in British mills and fully traceable from farm to finished product.

Dispatch Information:

Dispatch Days: Our dispatch days are Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, and deliveries are normally made on working days.

Dispatch Timing: We aim to dispatch orders on the same day if ordered before 12:30pm (Mon- Fri) and use a DPD Next (working) Day delivery service*. However, as each of our duvets, pillows and mattress toppers is individually handcrafted by our seamstresses in Devon, please bear in mind that during peak or busy periods, there may be a slight delay in the dispatch of your order.

*Please note: There are some areas within the UK where the actual delivery time will take longer (usually 2 - 3 days from dispatch). These include Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Shetland and Channel Islands.

Bespoke Products: Bespoke products usually take no more than 2 weeks but timings will be given at the time of ordering.

Should the need arise, we reserve the right to select our carriers and /or third-party delivery services at our discretion to ensure timely and secure delivery of our products. This policy helps us maintain our commitment to service quality and efficiency.

Our Christmas Opening Hours:

As we all embrace the joy of the festive season, our team at Devon Duvets will also be taking a little time to rest, recharge, and enjoy precious moments with their families. We will be closed from 24 December to 28 December 2025 (inclusive), so our last day for pre-Christmas dispatches will be 23 December 2025.

A small Devon Duvets team will be available to respond to enquiries by telephone and email on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December, with a limited dispatch service. We will then be closed from 31 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 (inclusive), returning on Monday 5 January 2026, refreshed and ready to begin handcrafting our luxurious duvets, toppers and pillows once again.

Care Information

Wool has a natural resistance to dust mites and micro bacteria, which makes it more hygienic than many other types of soft bedding.

To care for your topper, we recommend regular airing and turning. Our toppers can be turned top to bottom, side to side and on both sides. We recommend you rotate these each time you turn your topper.

Due to the amount of wool in our toppers, they are spot clean only. They are not suitable for hand or machine washing. We do not recommend dry cleaning as we are committed to using wool that has not been chemically treated and the dry cleaning process uses chemicals that can leave residues behind in the product.

We offer two different options in standard UK bed sizes, and one option in standard EU bed sizes for those customers who may have purchased beds from retailers that sell the slightly larger EU sized beds. Please note that we do not recommend toppers for children under the age of 12 months.
