Devon Duvets reversible mattress topper product shot with logo.

We’re thrilled that, once more, we are offering our fabulous reversible British wool mattress topper. This used to be one of our most popular products but, for a while, we were unable to source the superior quality woven fleece that we needed for our seamstresses to make it.

Many of our customers wrote to us asking if we could start making it again so Dick and Pauline undertook a special sourcing journey to find just the right kind of woven fleece that would be natural and chemical free. Eventually, they found a beautiful 100% British wool fleece that is woven onto a linen backing and could be combined with our signature, specially needled, British wool layers that we use for our duvets, toppers, and pillows.

What is a reversible mattress topper?

The result is a luxuriously tactile topper, with fleece on one side and a softly needled layer of traceable 100% British wool, encased in a high thread count 100% cotton casing, on the other. The cotton fabric that encases the wool layer is made from cotton that’s been certified by Better Cotton, a global organisation that supports and promotes better environmentally friendly and socio-economic cotton farming practices.

A truly sensory Devon Duvets experience…

Although not quite as deep as our award-winning brushed cotton, British wool filled topper, our reversible topper provides a layer of comfort and can also aid with temperature regulation. Offering a truly sensory experience, you can choose whether to sleep on the wool fleece side or flip it over and snuggle up on the smooth cotton side. Whichever you choose, it’s natural and sustainable, and you’ll enjoy all the benefits of sleeping on British wool. As with all our products, this is a 100% British made product, individually handcrafted by our team of professional seamstresses in our Devon workshops.

Available in standard UK Single (W135cm x L190cm) to Super King (W180cm x L200cm) sizes.
