Individually handcrafted in Devon, using a layer of fully traceable 100% British wool, encased in a luxurious quilted 260 thread count cotton casing, our mattress protector will add a layer of protection to help lengthen the life of your mattress. Each protector contains 300gsm (grams per square metre) of wool, gathered from specially selected British flocks. An elasticated cotton skirt (35cm deep) helps to hold the protector in place.

Easy Care: Air regularly to help keep the wool fresh. If a deeper clean is required, it can be machine washed in a large capacity machine, using a 30 degrees wool cycle and a detergent specifically created for wool. Gentle spin, then remove immediately from the machine and reshape. Do not leave sitting in water in the machine. Air dry, reshaping one or twice whilst drying. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean.

Dispatch Information:
Dispatch Days: Our dispatch days are Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, and deliveries are normally made on working days.
Dispatch Timing: We aim to dispatch orders on the same day if ordered before 12:30pm (Mon- Fri). However, as each of our duvets, pillows and mattress toppers is individually handcrafted by our seamstresses in Devon, please bear in mind that during peak or busy periods, there may be a slight delay in the dispatch of your order.
Bespoke Products: Bespoke products usually take no more than 2 weeks but timings will be given at the time of ordering.
*Please note: There are some areas within the UK where delivery can take longer than the times indicated in the above options. These include Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Shetland, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and Channel Islands.

Wool is naturally resistant to dust mites and micro bacteria and so is more hygienic than many other types of soft bedding. We recommend regular airing to help keep the wool nice and fresh. This can be done outside (if the weather is dry) or draped over a clothes airer near an open window, to allow air to get right round the protector.
If a deeper clean is required, our quilted mattress protectors can be washed on a 30 degrees wool cycle and using a detergent that is specifically created for wool. A gentle spin to remove excess water and then remove immediately from the machine, reshape and thoroughly air dry before replacing on your bed. We would recommend reshaping the protector a couple of times during the air drying process. Do not tumble dry. We do not recommend dry cleaning, due to the chemicals used during the process.
Our Quilted Cotton Mattress Protectors are filled with a layer of British wool. Each protector has a plain cotton 'skirt' that is elasticated to fit around mattresses up to a depth of 35cm. Currently available in standard UK bed sizes, we are also able to make bespoke sizes on request.
