Limited Edition! Luxury 100% British Alpaca Duvets

Our beautiful 100% British Alpaca wool duvets are individually handcrafted by our experienced seamstresses at our Devon workshops.

Alpaca wool is recognised world-wide for its luxurious and fine fibres. Each fibre has large hollow spaces, which increases thermal capability and temperature regulation, meaning that you can opt for a slightly lighter duvet if this is your preference. Alpaca fibres have fewer and flatter scales in comparison to sheep's wool fibres, making it especially soft. Alpaca wool has minimal lanolin content.

We only use a very high grade, natural white 100% British alpaca wool that is endorsed by the British Alpaca Society. It is cleaned in British mills, without the use of chemicals or bleach and then needled into fine layers to trap air, creating 'loft'. Our seamstresses then expertly encase it in 260 thread count 100% natural cotton. The end result is an extremely soft and light duvet, with superior drape, that will ease you into blissful sleep.

As we are only able to obtain a relatively small supply of this high grade alpaca wool each year, we are offering our 100% British Alpaca wool duvets as a Limited Edition product. So, like a fine vintage wine, when they're gone, they're gone...at least until next year's shearing!

Due to the natural cycle of alpaca shearing, which occurs at specific times of the year, we are currently pausing the production of these duvets. This ensures that we continue to use only the highest quality alpaca wool, aligned with our commitment to natural, sustainable practices.

100% natural product so is breathable and temperature regulating. Alpaca fibres are hollow, increasing thermal capability but not making you too hot. Keeps you cool in Summer but also warm in Winter, helping you get a great night's sleep. Helps combat 'night sweats'.
No bleach or chemicals used when alpaca wool is cleaned; no glues, artificial fibres or bonding agents are used.  Nothing except what nature intended next to your skin and also better for the environment.
Alpaca wool is luxurious, the fine fibres are needled into one sheet and carefully stitched into casing. Alpaca fibres create an especially lightweight duvet. Does not require shaking, does not clump and offers superior, lighter drape.
Resists dust mites. Helps to relieve symptoms of allergies and asthma.

Responsible and sustainable. Wool is shorn from live Alpacas in the traditional way, cotton casing is made from thread under the Better Cotton Initiative*, packaging is reusable.

 Environmentally-friendly and won't end up clogging landfill sites when it's time to change your duvet.
